| Jenna - Kate love the post! Great advice!! I agree 110% with evhryteing you suggested. I struggled with my dress a little because pretty much 80% of the dresses in the bridal shops are strapless. However, not everyone looks good in them! But I feel brides-to-be are forced into wearing them because that's what they see, and that's what they think they're supposed to wear. I knew I wouldn't like my arms in a strapless dress, but still tried them on anyway. After a little digging, I found the perfect dress with awesome straps, and that was it! Some ladies do look great in strapless dresses, but avoid the strapless shuffle when the top of the strapless dress doesn't move with the bride so it pretty much stays in one place as she dances. Haha. Double side tape will work wonders!! Also agree with the bridesmaid dresses I did what you suggested with mine and they all got the dress that fit them the best!Oh and one last little plug, the ladies at Claire's on Philadelphia Pike were amazing and so helpful! They were honest when you needed them to be, and they want you to look good too! And they don't work on commission. You don't have to go to David's Bridal for a reasonably priced dress!So those were my little lessons learned where are those flower earrings from?? They are really cute and I've been shopping around for earrings for my bridesmaids. |
